Jordan Zed is a prolific pop songwriter and graduate of Boston's Berklee College of Music. He has won many accolades for his work, most notably the $10,000 Grand Prize in the BMI / John Lennon Songwriting Competition, the Maritime Broadcasting System's Startrack Songwriting Competition and Berklee's Jack Maher Music Award. He has also collaborated with some of the music industry's most accomplished musicians and producers, including Hayward Parrott (engineer for David Foster's Tears Are Not Enough), Mike Mason (producer for Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, and Quincy Jones) Angel Angelov (engineer for numerous Sony Records releases and founder of Istar Productions), Chloe (rising US pop sensation), Akemi Iida (Japanese pop star) and Donna McElroy (recording artist for Garth Brooks, Amy Grant and James Brown).

Jordan grew up in New Brunswick, Canada, and wrote his first song at age five. He was a five-time regional winner, three-time provincial winner and second place national winner of the Canadian Music Competition. He was later named by Canada's national newspaper, the Globe & Mail, one of the young leaders in music who are making changes across the country.

Jordan's music reflects both his classical piano training and keen R & B-pop sensibility. His soaring melodies and harmonic imagination create vivid landscapes with exceptional cross-over appeal. Jordan's music has been featured across the air waves of North America and in many well-known venues in New York City, including CBGBs, the Living Room, The Triad, The Elbow Room, and the Makor Arts Club.
